How does ClearSilk™ work?

ClearSilk™ laser treatment is a quick facial-like procedure that can be done any time of year with no-downtime.  It utilises non-invasive, non ablative laser technology delivering micro-pulses of laser energy to target underlying layers of your skin. Through this process, it stimulates collagen production and promotes cellular renewal to effectively reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging, while improving skin texture and tone.

You will see a more even, healthy complexion as the appearance of large pores is reduced, and minor imperfections are diminished. As ClearSilk™ technology uses heat you can expect some skin tightening effect too.

What to expect during and after the treatment?

The ClearSilk™ procedure requires minimal downtime, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a youthful appearance without the extended recovery time of ablative resurfacing procedures. 
During your ClearSilk™ Laser session, you can expect a comfortable and painless experience with gentle warming of the skin that feels a bit like a hot stone massage. Your Clinic 1 aesthetician will glide the hand piece about 10cm away from your body so there is no direct contact between your skin and the laser itself. Full face treatment takes about 30 minutes. After the treatment, you may notice minor redness or warmth for a few hours. This is a natural response that indicates your skin is responding to the treatment.

Apart from sun protection no aftercare is required making ClearSilk™ truly a lunch break treatment.

How many treatments will I need, and when will I see results? 

The number of sessions required will depend on the unique needs of your skin. 
ClearSilk™ results are subtle but noticeable and can be built upon over time. After your first treatment, you can expect your complexion to look more refreshed and youthful. Our clients often describe their skin like “glowing” even after first couple of sessions. The improvements will be even more pronounced after each subsequent treatment.

We recommend 4-6 treatments course spaced 4 weeks apart.

Can I combine ClearSilk™ with other treatments? 

Absolutely! The best combo option will be BBL-BroadBand Light and ClearSilk™ but it can be done with pretty much all the other treatments that we offer.
