What are the benefits of Secret RF?

Secret RF will tighten and lift the skin in the face, neck and body.  It can also improve skin texture, pores, photoageing, scars, acne and stretch marks.

How does Secret RF Microneedling work?

Secret RF remodels and regenerates collagen and elastin. Each needle acts as an electrode, transmitting electrical impulses deep into the skin – which are converted into heat energy to induce coagulation. The coagulation of the dermis encourages production of collagen and elastin fibres. The way coagulation works is a process of denaturing existing collagen fibres within the dermis using heat energy greater than 40 degrees Celsius. Once these collagen bonds are broken, the body senses the damage and starts to form new collagen molecules to replace and enhance the damaged tissue.

Are there any contraindications?

You should not have this treatment performed if you have, or are:

·       Pregnant / Lactating

·       Implantable metal electrical devices such as defibrillator, metal implants & pacemaker

·       An auto immune disease

·       A Roaccutane user

·       A history of skin cancer or skin disease

·  Have active acne, rosacea or keloid scars

What’s the downtime with Secret RF Microneedling and does it hurt?

Depending on the settings and the area treated you can expect redness and swelling immediately following your treatment – which normally calms within 2 days. There’s little to no bleeding with each treatment. The needles move in a linear motion, using gentle pressure to minimise pain. Only 1-2 pass-over is required for each area and we use a topical anaesthetic prior the treatment. 

How long does the treatment take?

The very first treatment will take about 1 hour as we need to have an initial consultation. Further sessions will only be 30-40 minutes.

How many Secret RF Microneedling treatments will I need?

We recommend around 3-4 treatments depending on the condition of your skin and your concerns. Please allow around 4 weeks between each treatment.

Is there any aftercare needed?

For the first 24 hours following your Secret RF Microneedling treatment we recommend no exposure to heat such as spas, saunas, exercise or excessive sun exposure – this will reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. Please do not use Retinoids or active products for 1 week following your treatment. Use a gentle cleanser only during this time and use a broad-spectrum 50+ SPF, daily. You can use hyaluronic acid or a growth factor serum to accelerate the healing process.

Any single areas (face, neck, décolletage, knees, elbows, stomach) $600.

Any 2 areas $1000.
