How does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Laser Hair Removal works by sending the light of a laser through the pigment in the hair. This light converts to heat, which damages the hair follicle and hair bulb without damaging the surrounding tissue. After a few sessions, hair becomes weak and stops growing.

What’s the pre & post treatment care?

Please avoid waxing/tweezing for 4 weeks and tans, excessive sun exposure and peels for 2 weeks prior to your appointment. You’ll need to exfoliate the skin of your treatment area and shave 1 day before you visit our clinic.

It’s important to inform us if you’re currently using sun-sensitising retinoid creams such as Retin-A, Isotretinoin and Roaccutane. Laser Hair Removal is not suitable for pregnant women.

After your laser hair removal session, slight redness is normal. Avoid hot showers, spas and saunas and don’t do anything with the skin and hair for a few days. Strictly avoid the sun for 2 weeks after your appointment and please always wear sunscreen.
